Revolution History
Leaving engineering school at Georgia Tech to pursue his passion for cars, owner Matt Purselle spent several years under the guidance of Atlanta's first independent Mercedes repair shop owner. In pursuit of shop ownership himself, Matt came to work at Classic Repairs, as Revolution was once known, in Avondale Estates, GA. He quickly realized the potential for growth of the small, three-bay shop. In 1999, he purchased the business and has never looked back.
Classic Repairs quickly outgrew the location on North Avondale Road, and in the summer of 2003 Matt purchased a building in Decatur, GA to house the business. After a complete renovation, the building was ready for use. In May of 2004, Classic Repairs became Revolution and moved to its new home, with twice the number of bays and much needed extra parking.
